Five Rings Fencing, we will fence tonight in Lawrence, February 11th. IF we are VERY lucky, we will fence tomorrow at Lafayette. But the forecast being what it is, I expect they will likely cancel. Regardless, Friday is scheduled for parent teacher conferences. So, see my KC people tomorrow, weather permitting, and not again until Wednesday the 19th.

Lafayette closed today because of Ice. See you Friday, I hope.

No Fencing in Lawrence. I just spoke to FBC, and they asked me not to hold practice. I think they’re unhappy with how slick the parking lot is. Wednesday at Académie Lafayette is still undecided. Stay tuned.

Holiday schedules:

Academie Lafayette will close next week for Thanksgiving break. So, tomorrow, Friday the 22nd. is it for KC fencing until Wednesday, December 4th.

Lawrence practices continue as usual, excepting no practice on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.

Our last day to fence before Academie Lafayette’s Christmas break is December 18th. We return to fencing January 8th.

No fencing in KC Oct. 30 and November 1st. We will be back November 6th.
No fencing in Lawrence November 5th. It’s Election Day. The gym is a polling place.

Fencing at Academie Lafayette has resumed. This year we are fencing Wednesdays and Fridays from 7-8:30. Subject, of course, to the Academie Lafayette activities calendar.

FBC Lawrence is holding VBS this week, and needs the floor tonight. We will be back fencing next week, Tuesday night, June 18th.

KC Fencers, a reminder that Wednesday, June 19, Juneteenth, is a holiday, and there will be no fencing at Lafayette.

Tonight, May 29th, is your last chance to fence at Lafayette until June 5th. Come fence!

This week, Wednesday the 22, and Friday the 24th, as well as Monday the 27, the school has evening activities. Our next meeting is the following Wednesday the 29th.
